Anyway, when I'm not waist high in articles and assignments, I am daydreaming about possible things to add to my birthday list. Selfish? Perhaps. But seriously, when you're on a major "my husband and i are both graduate students and he refuses to let us move in with my mom" budget, birthdays are huge. and my list is just as huge.
Plus, this is a big one, my friends. It's my golden birthday. Finally. I've waited 28 years.
My list? Here's what I added tonight:
A monogrammed cardigan. I want a cute navy cardigan with a giant K on the left side. In white. Picture Laverne and Shirley for a moment . . . . .
Fleece-lined leggings. Anthropologie had them last year and sold out before I could buy them. I hope they, or someone just as smart, sells them this year. It's mid September and I'm ready for next summer already.
Finally, staying with the theme of warmth and dreading winter, I'd love a new set of flannel sheets.
Ok. Back to work. I'll get back to crafting and upholstery soon. That love seat has been on pause as my mom does a mini extreme makeover home edition and as I attempt to get my life in order. By Christmas, I promise.
P.S. MQ - write those down, ok? especially that sweater. no, that was not a joke.
