Diet Coke for Breakfast

I can't quit you:          
                                                                        
Girl Scout Cookies.
Obsessively-compulsively checking my email. And Facebook.
Trashy TV (including all of the shows I insist that I only watch because Michael does - i.e. Real Housewives. All of them.).
Diet Coke.
Nail biting.

So, what does this leave me to give up this Lent?

I once gave up candy. And then made the executive decision that licorice was not candy.
I gave up all treats last year - except Girl Scout Cookies. And then Easter candy was out early and there were sales - so I gave up all together.

Given my track record, I'm compromising this year. I'm giving up Diet Coke for breakfast (not any other time of day). And will increase my water intake. I even bought Crystal Light packets and bottled water last night to motivate me.

And I drank hot chocolate for breakfast this morning. Happy Lent.
