Dear Craig, I love your list

Look at this fabulous find on Craigslist!

Can you believe it? Only $50. $50 my friends! That’s phenomenal. She just needs a little sprucing up and it'll be good as new. Better than new. 

Now, if I can somehow get out to the suburbs, purchase it, and fit this in someone else’s car before another Craigslist stranger takes advantage of this great deal . . . . 

Nevermind that we don’t have space for another couch in our apartment.

Nor do I have the time to take on another project at the moment. (Remember that I have 2 once-orange chairs at home and another chair at my mom’s waiting for upholstery class, AND I have a kitchen cabinet waiting patiently for some paint and wallpaper – just wait for it. It’ll be a good one)

Nor do I have the space to store the couch while I wait to have the time and space to actually work on it (unless my mom graciously lets me use her basement . . . . she may not even notice if I secretly add it to the collection of boxes and things my siblings already have down there).

Fear not. I will not let these things deter me. Operation Craigslist Couch is underway.
